A young singer performs one evening in an upscale nightclub. She sings bittersweet songs about temptation, hope, and dreams — perhaps even about love. But not everything that seems beautiful and perfect at first glance turns out to be so in the end. Behind the scenes, far more is unfolding than one might expect, and ultimately, a crime takes place before our eyes.

The idea for this short film began with the phrase “The wrong man.” When I later discovered the song “Tempted” by The Hazelnuts, the story began to take shape. I wanted to tell a narrative with emotional depth and subtle tension, framed by a distinctive play of light and shadow. Most of the scenes remain hidden in darkness, with only sharp edges of light revealing fleeting glimpses.
